Inside Telx's recently expanded Clifton, New Jersey data center
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Colocation and data center operator Telx (www.telx.com) announced on Tuesday it has expanded the data centers in Dallas and Clifton, New Jersey.
The announcement follows the recent openings of Telx’s expanded Chicago and Atlanta data centers.
The expansions of the two data centers total 12,500 square feet of conditioned/raised floor capacity for financial institutions, media and content companies, service providers, cloud providers and software as a service providers.
The newly expanded Dallas and Clifton data centers provide Telx customers with immediate access to additional fully built, SAS 70-compliant, raised-floor data center space with up to 300 Watts of power per square foot.
“Telx successfully sold out the majority of Phase I capacity in our Dallas and Clifton data centers, and is expanding to meet current customer growth requirements along with new customer demand,” says Brad Hokamp, chief marketing officer of Telx. “Telx offers a proven colocation model that matches our enterprise customers’ data center requirements, along with industry-leading carrier density and interconnection services.”
Telx’s colocation facility at 8435 Stemmons Freeway in Dallas, located in the First American Center, has over 34,000 square feet of data center space and access to more than 50 network operators.
Customers at 8435 Stemmons Freeway can access Telx’s interconnection center at 2323 Bryan Street as well as direct connections to 1950 Stemmons Freeway, the Dallas Infomart.
100 Delawanna Avenue in Clifton services New York City and Northern New Jersey markets with more than 50,000 square feet of colocation space.
The facility offers customers the ability to lease private cages and cabinets and connect to more than 400 carriers, business exchanges, and enterprises with a single connection.
