Cloud services and colocation provider PeakColo announced on Tuesday it has named Sharon Kincl vice president of finance and administration.

The move comes a month after PeakColo named Laurel Burton vice president of marketing.

In her new role, Kincl will be responsible for leading all aspects of PeakColo’s financial management.

She will also take part in investor relations and strategic financial planning with PeakColo CEO and founder Luke Norris.

Kincl joins PeakColo from software and consulting firm Virco Software where she served as the vice president of finance and treasurer.

Before that, Kincl served as the chief financial officer of ASP technology and consulting services solutions provider Fetter Logic.

She has also served as chief financial officer at Persona, and chief financial officer at Intelliquest Information Group.

“Sharon brings a wealth of financial experience to PeakColo,” said Norris. “Her background in executive financial management with pioneering technology companies reflects Peak’s commitment to hiring excellence and superior customer service.”

In September, PeakColo raised $7.5 million in growth equity capital from Meritage Funds and Sweetwater Capital, which will fund growth to meet customer demand in PeakColo’s current markets and future expansion efforts.

Earlier this month, colocation provider PlusOne partnered with PeakColo to launch an enterprise-class suite of cloud services from PlusOne’s data center in Chicago.
