Colocation Firm ColoHouse Names VP of Sales and Marketing

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center operator and colocation provider ColoHouse (www.colohouse.com) announced on Tuesday it has named R. James Brownlow as vice president of sales and marketing.

The announcement comes a little over a month after ColoHouse appointed Felipe Rodriguez to chief operating officer.

In his new role at ColoHouse, Brownlow will provide leadership of sales and marketing functions, develop and implement sales and marketing strategies, and monitor and analyze sales activity against goals.

Brownlow his 20 years of experience working in IT, including companies such as General Electric, Hewlett-Packard, Honeywell and Terremark.

“R.J. brings a wealth of sales and data center experience to ColoHouse,” says Paul Bint, CEO of ColoHouse. “As we continue to expand our services and footprint, I am confident that the team now assembled will deliver excellent service to all of our valued customers.”

He has been successful in sales in the commercial, federal, state and local government markets.

Brownlow has expertise in situational awareness, blue force tracking – location based services, financial management information systems, managed hosting services, cloud computing, virtualization, data center migration strategies, disaster recovery/business continuity, outsourcing, content delivery networks, and other real world applications.
