Part of the power infrastructure within 360TCS's data center
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Colocation services provider 360 Technology Center Solutions (www.360tcs.com) announced this week it had partnered with business electricity supplier MC Squared Energy Services (www.mc2energyservices.com).
The partnership enabled 360TCS to lock in a competitive rate for its power supply, protecting its future operating margins, said director of sales and account relations at 360TCS Don Welbourn.
“To say the success of our business is tied closely to our energy utilization is an understatement,” said Welbourn. “we specialize in delivering more power per cabinet than our competitors, affording our clients the ability to take advantage of today’s cutting edge technology, such as blade servers and virtualization, to compress the physical footprint of their hardware configuration resulting in the need for a smaller number of cabinets and a cost savings versus a lower density deployment.”
In return, mc2 will take advantage of 360TCS’ colocation and data center services.
“Our customers count on us to be there for them when they need us. There is no nine to five anymore,” said chief financial officer for mc2 John Clark. “The redundancy of the 360TCS infrastructure provides us with the ability to focus on delivering the best products possible to our customers along with the peace of mind of knowing our network and hardware is in a stable and secure environment. 360TCS is a great fit for mc2.”
Both companies are based in Illinois.
