(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web-based applications provider Content Management AG (www.cm-ag.de) announced on Friday that it will launch its CM4all (www.cm4all.com) reseller edition and new customization options for CM4all sites next week at HostingCon 2011 (www.hostingcon.com).

According to the press release, CM4all’s premium site building solution was first presented at last year’s HostingCon conference, and since has been introduced in various language versions and markets by OEM partners around the world.

“After launching the new platform, our focus was clearly on enhancing and extending the proven customization options that our global OEM partners have benefited from over the past ten-plus years. Our new options guarantee that all our OEM partners will benefit, whether they are operating under a single brand, leveraging multiple brands or operating a complex multi-tier distribution system via resellers or channel partners,” Robert Schovenberg, CEO of CM-AG said in a statement. “We are truly excited about the future innovations we will launch in the years to come.”

CM4all Sites was developed as an adaptable platform and the new reseller version will provide increased flexibility in product customization and more room for the integration of custom content, according to the press release.

CM-AG says OEM partners can align the product with specifc groups or vertical markets and are able to create a separate GUI and product setup for each of their resellers from within a central installation.

Introduced earlier this year, CM4all Simplified Templates enables OEM partners and resellers to extend the template database within the product. The templates, according to CM-AG, complement the built-in section of fully customizable CSS templates.

Every end user has access to CM-AG’s widget technology, allowing for drag-and-drop configuration. The open widget API allows continuous development of widgets for partners and external software engineers, according to the press release.

CM-AG calls these additions “critical” for partners to maximize business opportunities with CM4all Sites.

HostingCon 2011 will be held in San Diego, California, from August 8 to August 10 and CM-AG will showcase its CM4all Sites offering at booth #121.
