Cloud analytical services provider Cloudmeter announced on Thursday it has released a new survey that shows that despite the fact that many organizations place importance on capturing customer data, many of them find that their current data capture and processing solutions limit insight into their users’ experience and behavior.
The report follows the results of the Hostway cloud services survey, which shows that the demand for cloud services remains strong.
The report certainly reflects the agenda of Cloudmeter, a company that provides “software solutions that transforms real-time network Big Data into actionable information for IT and business users”.
The report shows that 68 percent of survey respondents said their current data capture and processing solution does not capture all of their valuable user data, over 75 percent said their current solution does not capture and analyze data in real time, and 59 percent said their current solution has a negative impact on their website performance.
Additionally, 84 percent of respondents said their current solution requires additional coding from their development team, and 73 percent said their current solution is not cloud-friendly.
“This survey showed us that companies see great challenges relating to their data capture and processing solutions, and these challenges have a direct impact on their ability to truly understand their customers, and improve their users’ experience—as well as their top and bottom line,” said Ronit Belson, chief operating officer of Cloudmeter. “At a time when analytics and data quality are top of mind for virtually every business, across every industry, Cloudmeter believes that companies shouldn’t have to make sacrifices when it comes to their data. We are focused on helping companies break one of the last barriers to having clear insights into their users’ experience and behavior.”
According to Cloudmeter, businesses must be able to fully understand their customers’ experience and behavior by tapping into Big Data sources and using this data to gain critical insight.
Cloudmeter provides customers with real-time access into business and IT information without enduring any risk to production systems or application performance.
The company’s zero coding approach and simplified implementation allows customers to focus their efforts on analyzing the results.
Cloudmeter Stream and Cloudmeter Insight customers can store critical information by using ultralight agents that passively mine in real-time Big Data streams generated by web applications, without impacting production systems.
Earlier this month, Rackspace Hosting released a new survey that showed that enterprises in the US and UK are increasingly turning to hybrid cloud after finding the public cloud to be too limiting for certain applications or workloads.
