Cloud Security Firm nCircle Joins Cloud Security Alliance

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Automated security and compliance auditing solutions provider nCircle announced on Thursday it has joined the non-profit organization Cloud Security Alliance.

The CSA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting best practices for security assurance within cloud computing as well as education on the uses of cloud computing to help secure all other forms of computing.

The organization also provides education on the uses of Cloud Computing to help secure all other forms of computing. The CSA is led by a group of industry practitioners, corporations, associations and other key stakeholders.

As a part of the move, nCircle CTO Tim ‘TK’ Keanini will join CSA’s corporate member advisory council.

“nCircle has invested its top talent to the development of security standards and metrics over the last 12 years,” said nCircle CTO, Tim Keanini. “Meaningful security standards and metrics are crucial to multi-vendor interoperability, socializing the data across multiple disciplines and reducing security risk in public and private networks across the globe. We look forward to working with the CSA to define and educate the public about cloud security.”

nCircle provides a comprehensive suite of solutions for agentless security and configuration auditing for physical and virtual IT environments.

The solutions combine networked systems and their operating systems, applications, vulnerabilities and configurations with advanced analytics to help enterprises reduce security risk and achieve compliance.
