(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Data center and cloud service monitoring provider AccelOps (www.accelops.net) announced on Monday that it has named Elie Antoun president and chief executive officer of the company. In this role, Antoun will be responsible for AccelOps’ strategy and business operations.
This appointment comes a month following AccelOps release of its latest version of its flagship monitoring solution.

She’s done a brilliant job building a company poised to capitalize on the explosive growth in data centers and cloud computing.”
Prior to this appointment, Antoun was entrepreneur-in-residence at El Dorado Ventures, a venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, California.
“The strength of AccelOps’ people, technology, and customer base is truly impressive,” said Antoun. “I am excited to build out and complement its strong team, to capitalize on the momentum they’ve generated, and to execute on the large market opportunity in front of us.”
Previously to this, Antoun was CEO of Genesis Microchip, which he led until its acquisition by STMicroelectronics.
Prior to Genesis, he was president and chief execuitve office of MediaQ, and prior to this, he was executive vice president at LSI Logic Corporation.
Antoun has a master of business administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He also has a bachelor of science and master of science in electrical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Antoun will take over AccelOps founder Imin Lee’s role, where Lee will move into a new role as chief AccelOps. Lee will continue to direct AccelOps’ China operations and will remain of member of the Board of Directors.
