(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Cloud hosting provider OnX Enterprise Solutions announced on Thursday it has launched a new portfolio of cloud and managed services designed to simplify and accelerate the design and deployment of cloud-based enterprise solutions, whether those solutions are managed or hosted, private or shared.
The new services are offered as part of the OnX Federated Cloud framework in which OnX will design, build and manage a cohesive and adaptable mix of private and shared cloud computing deployments, either on client premise or in an OnX hosted data center.
The new OnX services offer a wide range of solutions and pay-as-you-go options including OnExpert, support services for managed and hosted private cloud solutions with 24-hour hosting at certified data centers with ITIL-compliant processes.
OnTask is a suite of infrastructure-as-a-service offerings for dedicated private hosting, virtual multi-tenant for disaster recovery, and self-serve virtual data center options.
OnRecovery offers backup and disaster recovery services for legacy and private cloud configurations, including remote vaulting and full remote backup management.
Finally, OnMessage is a cloud-based, enterprise class email and collaboration that offers a cost effective alternative to Microsoft Exchange.
“Companies of all sizes are struggling with big data and using numerous mobile, virtualized or on-demand applications, all with varying compliance, security, access, quality of service, and performance requirements,” said Ed Vos, president and CEO of OnX Enterprise Solutions. “It’s obvious that one size does not fit all in cloud computing. We designed the OnX Federated Cloud and related services to help companies make sense of these complex computing environments. We’re offering them a highly flexible, cost effective way to rapidly deploy cloud-based data center solutions that adapt easily to their specific needs, will accelerate the growth of their businesses, and will help them achieve breakthrough outcomes.”
The suite of new OnX managed services and the OnX Federated Cloud build upon the company’s decade of experience in delivering managed data center services, both at its own Tier 3, SSAE 16 certified data centers or on a client’s premises.
OnX monitors and manages a client’s private or shared operations 24-hour with certified staff and ITIL-compliant processes.
As part of its new OnExpert support service, the company offers customers four levels of service and support to accommodate differing in-house capabilities and requirements.
These range from network and server/storage break-fix and maintenance, remote monitoring and 24-hour support, to complete service level agreement-compliant infrastructure management and full application support, including maintenance, upgrades, development integration and version control.
