Cloud computing conference and exhibition Cloud Connect Silicon Valley announced on Tuesday the lineup of its keynote speakers, which includes cloud computing experts from service and technology providers like SoftLayer, Cisco and Telx.

Held on April 2 to 5 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, the event features the latest technologies, platforms, strategies, and innovations in cloud computing.

This year’s keynote speakers include CloudOps Research vice president Alistair Croll, Cisco VP and CTO of cloud computing Lew Tucker, General Electric VP and global technology director William Ruh, Paylpal chief information security officer Michael Barrett, Telx SVP of cloud services and strategy Joe Weinman, Softlayer CTO Duke Skarda, and Warner Music Group SVP of DSP engineering Dave McCrory.

“We’re excited to announce Cloud Connect’s keynote lineup, featuring industry leading visionaries and practitioners to address the latest advancements in cloud technologies and business use-cases,” said Steve Wylie, general manager at Cloud Connect. “Speakers will present technology and business leaders with the relevant, vendor neutral information and education necessary to help shape their business strategy. This event plays a vital role in informing the market and bringing all cloud constituents together in meaningful ways to explore the wide range of innovation in the cloud.”

In addition to the keynote lineup, Cloud Connect Silicon Valley will include tracks on big data, mobile cloud, private and hybrid clouds, and organizational readiness, along with many in-depth workshops.

The Cloud Connect Silicon Valley expo floor will showcase a range of cloud solutions from top cloud computing technology companies including CoreSite, F5 Networks, Flexiant, OnApp, ProfitBricks, Riverbed, and SunGard Availability Services.

The event will be sponsored by many top cloud service providers, including ActiveState, Apica, Cisco, Dimension Data, Oracle, RedHat, Soasta, SoftLayer, Sungard Availability Services and VMware.

In addition to the Silcon Valley event, Cloud Connect also has two other conference and exhibition events in India (May 23 to 24) and Chicago (October 21 to 24).
