Clickstream Names MD of International Sales

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Content platform developer Clickstream Technologies (www.clickstream.com) announced on Thursday it has appointed Ian Brook as managing director of  international sales.

Reporting to Clickstream’s board of directors and managing its international sales and marketing team, Brook will be responsible for growth of Clickstream’s products for enterprises, SMEs and ISPs in the UK and EMEA and initial charge into the US.

Brook has 25 years of management experience which includes previous roles at Oracle, Siebel and ICL.

He served as sales vice president at Siebel, where he consistently delivered record sales growth, was the top regional manager in the UK for three years and managed the sale of Siebel UK’s largest ever deal.

Before joining Siebel Systems in 1998, Brook was the sales director for ICL Retail Systems in the UK.

He spent five years at Oracle before that where he was a prime mover in positioning Oracle as a valued business partner for customers rather than a software vendor.

“Ian is a very accomplished sales and marketing professional and the clear leader in his field,” says Chris Wightman, executive chairman and founder of Clickstream. “He has a wealth of experience, excellent businesses acumen and an exemplary track record in delivering corporate strategic sales targets. This is an important strategic hire for us: Ian will grow, develop and lead the team as a key part of Clickstream’s international growth.”

Clickstream says it is seeking other sales professionals based in the UK and US as well as C developers and a test analyst for the UK technology team.

Last month, Clickstream partnered with 123-reg and Google to offer 123-reg customers free automated tools to generate revenue from AdSense.
