Cirtex Hosting Boosts Plans
September 11, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Cirtex Hosting (cirtexhosting.com) announced on Monday it has increased the resources of its low end hosting plans by 10 times.
Available for $4.99 per month, Cirtex Hosting’s basic plan now includes 10GB of storage, 250GB of monthly bandwidth and multiple domain capabilities. Additionally, all plans now offer a Web-based site builder. The changes will apply to existing and new customers.
“As the budget hosting market grows more competitive, we’re doing a number of things to remain an attractive, viable provider,” says John Xie, Cirtex Hosting president. “Consumers are getting more educated. The days of the impulse hosting buys are over and our marketing strategy reflects that. By increasing value-add in our plans, we are able to stabilize prices while still offering an increasingly lucrative hosting environment for our customers.”
The company also hopes to boost sales by continuing to promote its affiliate program, which it updated in early August.
