October 1, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Canadian web hosting provider Cirrus Tech (cirrushosting.com) announced on Wednesday it has updated its Linux and Windows reseller hosting plans, which the company says reflects its commitment to providing customers with “full featured web hosting options at a competitive price point.”
The new reseller hosting plans also follows a similar update to Cirrus Tech’s VPS offerings in August, which updated its two existing Windows and Linux VPS plans to target customers that need a large amount of dedicated resources.
Cirrus Tech’s reseller hosting plans enables customers to host up to 50 domains and act as a hosting reseller.
The Bulk Hosting Plan II is priced at $79.99 per month, and includes 10GB disk storage, 10,00GB bandwidth traffic and the ability to host 20 domains. Bulk Hosting Plan III is priced at $139.99, and includes 15GB disk storage, 2,000GB bandwidth traffic and the ability to host 50 domains.
Both plans come with SiteBuilder, osCommerce, JSP (Tomcat), ASP.NET Support, MYSQL/MSSQL and media streaming. Other features include Plesk 8.6 control panel, separate logins for resellers’ clients, individual account and database backup capability, SpamAssassin and Dr. Web Anti-Virus software, and two dedicated IPs.
Since customers have the ability to create individual user accounts, they can decide how they want to allocate their resources. Customers can also purchase specific resources, such as additional disk space and databases, or upgrade their entire plan as needed. Founded in 1999, Cirrus Tech says in its press release it is one of Canada’s largest web hosting companies and is a leading provider of comprehensive Internet services.
