Verio Attracts Resellers with Free Month of VPS Hosting: Companies looking to boost revenues are finding Verio's Free VPS promotion the right fit for getting started as Hosting Reseller.

November 23, 2004 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- In the wake of a brawl that broke out between fans and players at a National Basketball Association game between the Detroit Pistons and the Indiana Pacers on Friday night, Web hosting provider C I Host (cihost.com) has launched its latest guerilla marketing tactic.

The Texas-based host announced on Monday that it will pay $10,000 to the first person - any player or fan captured in television news coverage - to tattoo the company's logo on their fist.

"We do not condone or support this type of behavior under any circumstances," says Christopher Faulkner, CEO of C I Host. "But chances are these people will be on camera again - at one point or another - so let's see if they want to launch a marketing career. Of course, they will have to prove they were in the fray."
