(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Virtualization solutions provider China Intelligence Information Systems (www.ciisi.com) announced on Wednesday that one of its wholly-owned subsidaries, Jinan Yinquan Technology (www.yinquan.cn), has won the bid for the Shandong Provincial Hospital virtualization project.
Established in 1897, the hospital is the Red Cross Hospital for Shandong Province and the School of Clinical Medicine of Shandong University.
The integrated virtualization solution provided by Yinquan will improve the hospital’s servers’ utilization rates and enhance its data center security.
“Being awarded such an important project is another example of our continued success in the virtualization industry,” Kunwu Li, president and CEO of CIISI said in a statement. “This project clearly shows our ability to implement our integrated virtualization solutions for the healthcare industry.”
With the new virtualization solution, the hospital will be able to reduce purchasing and administrative expenses, according to Yinquan.
Yinquan says other benefits for the hospital include higher energy savings and lower emissions.
