CGI Federal Wins Two US Government Contracts

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — In two separate announcements, IT services firm CGI Federal (www.cgi.com/usfederal) revealed this week it has won two high-profile contracts with US government agencies, the US General Services Administration (www.gsa.gov) and the US Environmental Protection Agency (www.epa.gov).

In a $32 million five-year contract, the US GSA has selected CGI to provide data center hosting services and management support for the agency’s integrated financial system.

CGI Federal will host data from the GSA’s financial system, which is based on CGI’s Momentum Financials software.

The agreement extends CGI Federal’s support to GSA as a management services partner.

CGI Federal has also been selected by the US Environmental Protection Agency to provide IT infrastructure support services to the agency.

The company is one of seven vendors selected in the $955 million, seven-year blanket purchase agreement.

CGI says it hopes to win at least $150 million of the projects. The contract extends CGI’s more than 30-year partnership with the US agency.

The company continues to see success in the government sector, having already announced nine government contracts this year.
