January 10, 2002 -- (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) -- Managed hosting and IT outsourcing services provider Cervalis (cervalis.com), has announced that it will host the second seminar in its High-Tech Proficiency Seminar Series on Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST, at its IDC in Wappingers Falls, New York.

The free seminar, titled "Business Continuity: Ensuring Your Future," willfeature keynote presentations and demonstrations from Cervalis, EMC andindustry analyst firm The Gartner Group. The seminar will provide aninteractive environment for business leaders and IT managers to identify andanalyze disaster recovery and business continuity trends, plans andimplementation strategies.

During this seminar, speakers will address the following issues: backupmethodologies; the cost of business continuity planning; protection,prevention and response recovery solutions; infrastructure security; andrisk assessment.

Experts will present on business continuity funding, planning and execution,and will have the opportunity to tour Cervalis' fault tolerant data center,demonstrating how the solutions and processes addressed at the seminar canbe applied by organizations.
