CeraNet Makes Acquisitions, Introduces Services

December 19, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — CeraNet Inc. (cera.net), a managed hosting provider and domain registrar based in Columbus, Ohio, said this week that it has acquired two hosting service providers, introduced a Web site error tracking and correction system and implemented 24/7 live customer support.

The company said the two newly acquired hosting companies, based in the Midwest and Southeast United States, increase its customer base by 20 percent. CeraNet said both companies will be migrated to its data center facility in Columbus, Ohio.

“Our recent acquisitions allow us to grow our customer base at an effective cost, without the expense and uncertainty of traditional advertising,” said Jason Harris, executive vice president of CeraNet, Inc. “These clients will allow us to continue to grow our managed web hosting business unit and expand our potential base for future applications and services.”

CeraNet said the service enhancements are designed to improve overall customer satisfaction.
