December 2, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center operator and managed Web hosting provider SingTel EXPAN (singtel.com) recently announced that it has added CCH Asia Pte Ltd., a provider of information services, software and workflow tools for tax, accounting, legal and business professionals, as a new customer.
Under the deal, SingTel EXPAN is hosting CCH Asia’s Web portal and managing its IT infrastructure, providing colocation, hosting, connectivity, backup and managed security services. CCH is also planning to deploy SingTel EXPAN’s disaster recovery and data center backup services for its IT systems, SingTel said.
“Our customers are typically busy professional like lawyers and accountants, and they need to access their materials twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, whether in print or online,” says Matthew Sullivan, managing director of CCH Asia Pte Ltd. “SingTel XPAN offers, in an outsourced model, a wide range of services that we require.”
