Caringo will combine its object storage with CTERA’s cloud platform results in cloud storage to deliver improved management, performance, integrity and scale. The value-add product is available for service providers to offer to business users of all sizes.

CAStor’s ability to leverage any x86 server hardware, deliver up to 98 percent disk utilization, and the ability to incrementally scale up or down, provides a flexible cloud infrastructure for businesses.

Service providers using Caringo as storage infrastructure for their cloud storage service can scale incrementally up or down a single hard drive at a time and can upgrade and retire hardware without service downtime.
