(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Canadian Web host iWeb Technologies (www.iweb.com) announced on Wednesday that it has launched a line of Virtualization Ready Servers designed for applications that require virtualization tools.
iWeb says its Virtualization Ready Servers will support Xen Open Source, Microsoft HyperV and Parallels Virtuozzo.
“Many of our customers are already using theses types of solutions, but we have had many requests for pre-installed solutions to simplify their lives. This new line of servers can get you started with virtualization easily,” Martin Leclair, co-founder and president products and technology of iWeb said in a statement.
According to the company, its new servers are available in four different hardware configurations: startup, professional, small business and enterprise.
The servers are available from $189 a month and iWeb says each one is customizable to fit clients’ technical needs and budgets.
In January, iWeb announced that it had activated its 1000th Smart server.
