(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Canadian Web hosting provider Fully Managed (www.fullymanaged.com) announced on Tuesday it will acquire Canadian IT services provider HIT Business Solutions (www.hitsolutions.ca). The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The move follows two acquisitions Fully Managed announced in September, where the company purchased hosting providers Blackheron Technology Solutions and Pomarex Solutions.

HIT provides IT solutions, including technical support, Web marketing, and IT consulting.

The company’s staff in Vancouver and Edmonton will be retained in addition to several new key positions being announced in both cities.

“I am delighted to have the opportunity to welcome the team at HIT to the Fully Managed family,” says Chris Day, CEO of Fully Managed. “I am confident that our valued clients, team and partners will be amazed at what we will soon deliver as a combined force.”

Fully Managed has 35 employees and will now deliver an “enhanced level of service” to customers in both Vancouver and Edmonton.

Chris Day will remain CEO of Fully Managed, while HIT president and CEO Sharleen Oborowsky joins Fully Managed as president.

Fully Managed provides IT support and management services, IT consulting and project services and cloud hosting services to businesses and non-profit organizations in Vancouver, BC and Edmonton.
