A screen shot of Bolt Web Hosting`s selection of plans
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Canadian Web host Bolt Web Hosting (www.boltwebhosting.com) announced on Tuesday that it will now offer unlimited shared hosting plans, enabling customers access to unlimited bandwidth and space.
Bolt says it has already migrated its existing users accounts over to the new plans, and these customers have not been charged any additonal fees for this extension.
According to the press release, the price of the plans has stayed the same at $3.95 a month. With this switch, it is likely users weren’t reaching the limits of the previous plan.
“The decision to enter the unlimited shared web hosting market was made a while ago,” Christian Little, CEO of Bolt Web Hosting said in a statement. “Today’s customers are favoring unlimited shared hosting plans and we wanted to ensure our products are up to par with customer demands.”
Launched in late 2010, the company currently does not offer reseller plans, dedicated hosting plans or virtual private servers but says it hopes to break into these markets in the future.
“We don’t have a public launch date for these new products, but you can expect to hear about one in the next month or so, and the others will be online by the end of the year,” Little said.
