Burntsand Awarded Contract by Superintendent of Financial Institutions

February 18, 2002 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Burntsand Inc. (burntsand.com) announced today that thecompany has been awarded a contract by Public Works and Government ServicesCanada on behalf of the Office of the Superintendent of FinancialInstitutions (osfi-bsif.gc.ca) for the provision of a Web-based case, document and workflow management solution.

The project, valued at more than $1.7 million over the next three years,will feature a Web-based information management solution, providing acollaborative environment that will enhance the implementation of case,document, and workflow management solution for all of OSFI’s informationmanagement needs.

Burntsand is a provider of document, workflow and case managementimplementations with more than two hundred document management installationsthroughout the world in both the private and public sectors.

This contract was awarded under the Government On-Line (GOL) supplyarrangement, in which Burntsand pre-qualified following a competitivetendering process to provide federal departments and agencies with solutionsfor the GOL initiative under the Composite Solutions Stream.
