The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers requires that domain registrants publicly display their information. This gives spammers, telemarketers, marketers and people with malicious intents the ability to exploit WHOIS information to send unsolicited communications.
Publicly displaying WHOIS information increases the chances of hijackings and identity theft among domain owners. BulkRegister’s private WHOIS registration blocks junk mail and prevents identity theft, stifling spammers and telemarketers.
