Broadjam, Peavey Offer Free Hosting

May 4, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Music-related Web hosting provider Broadjam (broadjam.com) and music equipment manufacturer Peavey (peavey.com) announced on Thursday that it is giving its online customers one free Web site with a Peavey purchase of $100 or more.

The Web site will include hosting for music, biography, pictures, tour dates, album info, contact form and custom email accounts. Artists can choose from two Peavey amplifier graphic skins, modeled on the Penta and JSX half-stacks and then customize their site by uploading songs, images and information.

“Broadjam.com hosts independent artists from more than 110 countries and all genres of music, and even brings in industry professionals to critique and give them advice,” says Tony Moscal, senior manager of marketing and product development at Peavey. “Broadjam is not only a vibrant community of active musicians; it’s also a way to bring a high level of industry exposure to Peavey musicians, and in turn help them to the next phases of their careers.”

Customers can receive the free, one-year Web site, a $150 value says Broadjam, when they make a minimum purchase of $100 through the Peavey Magnet online shopping system. Customers are asked to enter the code “freewebsite” during checkout, which will then direct them to Broadjam’s Web site to register.
