(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — International consulting firm BroadGroup (www.broadgroup.com) announced on Wednesday it will host 4th Power and Cooling for Data Centres forum on October 22 at the America Square Conference Centre in London (www.datacentres.com/pac).
The theme for this year’s annual event will be the use of innovation to reduce cost and energy consumption, and increase efficiency in data centers.
The special one-day forum will review a range of new solutions and ideas emerging to resolve the high costs associated with data centers today.
The conference’s program will cover insight and the very latest information on the most innovative range of solutions and technologies that help reduce costs and lower carbon emissions.
Key speakers from both North America and Europe, including Michael Manos, senior VP of technical services at Digital Realty Trust, Joe Polastra, chief technology officer of Sentilla and Dr. Ian F Bitterlin, chief technical officer of Prism Power.
The agenda will mostly cover power and cooling technologies, and what measures are available now to reduce both consumption and carbon emissions.
The event also features an exhibition hall showcasing current and new technologies that offer green power and cooling solutions.
“Power and cooling remain core challenges for data center users and owners alike,” says Steve Wallage, managing director of BroadGroup Consulting. “This flagship forum attracts wide international attention because it assembles expertise and acquires a highly targeted audience. As new pressures mount with new legislative mandates, data centers are totally focused on reducing cost to ensure compliance but also competitiveness.”
In April, BroadGroup held its fifth annual Data Centres Europe Conference and Awards, which drew more than 300 executives registered to attend the two-day event.
