Brightmail Upgrades Anti-Spam Solution

December 12, 2003 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — San Francisco-based BrightMail (brightmail.com) announced this week the availability of BrightMail Anti-Spam version 5.5, the latest edition of its anti-spam software solution. The company said version 5.5 is equipped with more spam fighting technology and displays greater user flexibility and control. The new version also includes new URL rules to catch “trick” spam containing deceptive URLs.

Brightmail Anti-Spam is a server-side software solution that filters e-mail at an organization’s mail gateway and runs on Windows, Linux and Solaris operating systems.
