(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Brazilian Web host NetRevenda (www.netrevenda.com) announced on Wednesday that it will offer R1Soft Continuous Data protection backups and archiving with all of its shared and reseller hosting plans.
According to the announcement, NetRevenda will also use CDP to backup its email servers.
NetRevenda says its hosting environment will have “an elevated level of reliability and protection” with the addition of R1Soft CDP.
“When we decided to add a server backup component to our services, we made the easy decision to go with R1Soft,” Lucas Vanznin, operations director for NetRevenda said in a statement. “Because R1Soft fits our needs so closely, CDP is more than just backup software; for netRevenda, it is a backup solution.”
CDP decreases impact to disk load and the time required to complete backups. NetRevenda also offers its customers CDP’s Bare Metal Restore for restoration of complete file systems.
“Server uptime and data availability can mean the difference between success and failure in today’s market,” David Wartell, vice president of R1Soft stated. “By electing to implement R1Soft CDP data backups, NetRevenda has made a proactive decision to choose success, not only for netRevenda but for its thousands of customers, as well.”
NetRevenda says CDP’s Web interface enables the remote management of server backups and restores. CDP is integrated with cPanel to simplify management.
Created in 2003, NetRevenda hosts more than 60,000 websites.
In February, R1Soft released its CDP 3.0 Enterprise Edition.
