(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web host and data center technical support, software development and phone support services provider Bobcares (www.bobcares.com) has opened a new office in Bad Durkheim, Germany.
The launch of the new office, operating under the name “Poornam GmbH,” was created to address the growing business and global demand for new services, according to Bobcares, which is headquartered in India and manages more than 50,000 servers worldwide.
“We are excited about this whole new development. In fact, Poornam GmbH is a part of our long-term strategy to significantly increase our worldwide presence,” Bobcares director and co-founder Sangeetha Naik said in a statement. “With our customer base and business growing rapidly, we will continue to invest towards new approaches that will help us keep in pace with the needs of our customers. This new facility will provide our European customer base with easier access to us.”
Adding to the existing corporate offices in India and USA, the new German office will provide Bobcares an additional base where they can provide sales and customer service to European customers.
Bobcares executive team member Tobby Davasia said that after attending the WebhostingDay conference for the first time in 2008, “[Bobcares] found Europe a good prospective market for business enhancement… [S]oon thereafter, [the company] decided that Germany would be our first stepping stone in this direction. Bobcares has been growing rapidly over the last few years and Poornam GmbH is an important milestone in our ongoing expansion plans. Our German website is on its way to be launched soon. In addition to its European expansion, Bobcares has been recently adding other outsourcing options for web hosts and data centers. Last month, it launched its “Pro-active Server Management” plan, a 24/7 server support solution that offers software upgrades, security audits and updates, as well as backup management solutions that keep servers running at peak performance starting at $54.99 per server per month.
