Blade Systems to Host IDG Expo

March 27, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Tradeshows and events producer IDG World Expo (idgworldexpo.com) announced on Monday that Blade Systems Alliance (bladesystems.org) will host the Blade Systems Pavilion at the inaugural Next Generation Data Center. 

The event will feature the industry ‘s leading vendors of modular and blade-based computing systems and technology, as well as a theater where attendees can listen to presentations on topics critical to data center and blade server implementations. NGDC will be held on August 6 to 9 at the Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco, California  

“This event presents us with a new opportunity to create high-level business and networking opportunities among the users and vendors of blade-based technologies,” says Jim Hall, president for Blade Systems Alliance. “Participating in NGDC and sponsoring the Blade Systems Pavilion allows us to provide unbiased sources of information and insight for any attendee involved in the deployment and application of blade systems.”  The Blade Systems Alliance was created to advance the adoption of modular and blade-based computing systems, promoting multi-vendor standards for modular systems management and racking, addressing data center and advanced computing issues and delivering programs and forums that educate the user community.
