October 26, 2007 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Ireland-based Web hosting provider and domain registrar Blacknight Solutions (blacknight.ie) announced on Wednesday that it has cut prices on .eu domain registrations.
Blacknight is offering one-year registrations of .eu domains for five euros, which is more than 50 percent cheaper than most domain providers, says the hosting provider.
“We like being able to offer our clients something special from time to time,” says Michele Neylon, CEO of Blacknight. “If we can get more people using .eu domains for their company sites or even their personal blogs I’ll be happy.”
Blacknight is an accredited registrar with Eurid and Nominet and says it is one of Ireland’s largest Web hosts with over 18 thousand domains hosted.
