September 15, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — IT solutions provider BlackMesh (blackmesh.com), a company that has recently joined KEMP Technologies’ VARMaster Partner Program, announced on Monday it is exceeding growth projections for 2008 with over 30 percent revenue increase in the first half of the year.
According to its most recent announcement, BlackMesh believes it is “on pace for its sixth consecutive year of both customer and revenue growth” as more organizations continue to choose its hosting solutions.
Founded in 2003, BlackMesh says it specializes in the design, deployment and administration of “robust, innovative managed hosting and managed services in both off-site and on-site locations,” with a particular focus on small to medium-sized businesses. The company is headquartered in Herndon, Virginia.
On the heels of its expansion within Equinix’s Ashburn, Virginia data center, BlackMesh says it has increased its customer base by 20 percent.
One of these customers is e-business solutions developer CommonPlaces, which signed with BlackMesh in July, to host its key customer websites including Waste Management-owned collaborative ‘green’ social networking website Greenopolis.com
As further testament to its growth, BlackMesh says many of these customers also “increased their footprint” within the company, including Phase2 Technology, which added five new servers to support customer growth, demand for online publishing tools, multi-site CMS implementations, Drupal and community portals running on the LAMP stack.
“As a small business itself, BlackMesh understands the difficulty SMBs face when balancing their day-to-day operations with its business objectives,” says Eric Mandel, CEO of BlackMesh. “By allowing our customers to focus on their business development rather than their IT management, we are not only fueling our growth, but our customers’ as well.”
