BEA Executive to Present on Web Security

January 30, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — BEA Systems (bea.com) said on Thursday that Paul Patrick, the company’s chief security architect, is scheduled to make a presentation at the Web-Enabled Government conference that is taking place on February 4-5 in Washington, DC.

Patrick will participate in a session titled, “Securing Web Applications – What Can Be Done Today” on February 4 at 2:15 pm Eastern time.

According to the company, the session will examine methods for effective threat detection and the critical elements necessary to ensure secure information exchange within large-scale, Web-enabled programs.
