The service is available in numerouslocations, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, Boston,Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Miami,Philadelphia, Denver, Kansas City, Orlando, and Tampa. These metropolitanareas make up about half of the United States population.

"Businesses and Internet Service Providers continue to increase theirdependence on the Internet as they build ever larger Web sites, do morebusiness on line with customers, use the Internet to store and back up data, and move toward streaming video," said Barbara Shaw, vice president ofBandwidth Market. The Internet continues to be the fastest growingtelecommunications segment. This reduction in Internet access prices makesBandwidth Market more important to carriers and large businesses."
