Axigen Expands Mail Server With Mosqit

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Messaging solution vendor AXIGEN (www.axigen.com) and Russian integrated IT solutions provider Mosqit (www.mosqit.ru) have signed a partnership agreement focused on expanding the AXIGEN Mail Server product range distribution in Russia, where the messaging market is set to grow significantly.

Mosqit delivers a wide variety of IT solutions and services, ranging from data management and security, messaging and collaboration to storage optimization, network architecture design and implementation. According to AXIGEN’s Thursday announcement, Mosqit will help AXIGEN further its goal of expanding and consolidating its presence in the Russian market.

“They can also offer us great insight as to how we can better adapt our high-end range of messaging solutions to the specific email communication needs of companies operating in this country,” AXIGEN chief executive officer Oana Bornaz said in a statement.

Mosqit chief technology officer Vitaliy Sayfullin said AXIGEN was chosen because of its advanced technology and industry experience. “When we started our collaboration with AXIGEN, we were trying to find a scalable and manageable messaging solution for the Linux platform that would add value to our existing software portfolio,” Sayfullin said in a statement. “AXIGEN was the only mail server that could provide us with a simple installation process, an excellent management interface, as well as high performance and rich features.”

AXIGEN, now at version 7.1, runs on several Linux and BSD distributions, on Solaris, on Windows operating systems, on PowerPC and SPARC architectures and is becoming a messaging solution option for a growing number of worldwide service providers and enterprises.
