December 3, 2004 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Internet payment service provider Authorize.net (authorize.net), a division of e-commerce company Lightbridge (lightbridge.com), announced this week that it has integrated Mercantec’s (mercantec.com) PowerCommerce 2005 shopping cart solution with the Authorize.net payment gateway. With the integration, online merchants can sell their goods and services using Mercantec’s PowerCommerce suite of Web site building and storefront solutions together with the Authorize.Net payment gateway.

Authorize.net said Mercantec has been certified according to the integration, performance and security standards of its Shopping Cart Certification Program.
