(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Australian Web hosting provider OzeVision Web Hosting (www.ozevision.com) announced Tuesday it has recently expanded into the Pionen Data Center in Bahnhof Stockholm, Sweden through its hosting infrastructure provider ResellersPanel (www.resellerspanel.com).

ResellersPanel expanded into Pionen in September.

OzeVision has already established a presence in Europe through access to Bluesquare data center in Birkshire, UK.

The Swedish data center is 11,950 square feet and is located underground in what was originally a nuclear shelter and military bunker during the Cold War.

“In the Swedish data center, dedicated hosting servers have been placed where all the new shared web hosting accounts are created, alongside with backup servers and administrative servers,” Khalid M. Syed, director of OzeVision said in a statement. “They all are in perfect sync with the software being used – to ensure a seamless hosting experience for web hosting clients.”

According to OzeVision, the network has full redundancy with both fiber optics and extra copper lines with three different physical ways into the mountain and is one of the best-connected places in northern Europe.

Pionen is the same data center where WikiLeaks once stored some of its servers
