Ninefold shows how to set up a virtual server in this video on YouTube
(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Australian cloud computing and storage firm Ninefold (www.ninefold.com) announced on Thursday that it has launched The Ninefold Cloud Booster Program to accelerate growth for Australian startups. It has partnered with local startup hubs, Pollenizer and Startmate, as the programs first partners.
According to the press release, the program removes a major infrastructure expense for startups in the Pollenizer and Startmate communities by offering approved businesses free Ninefold cloud computing and storage credit. The offer is worth up to $2000 per month and stands for up to one year.
Approved companies will also benefit from technical sales consultation for set-up, as well as involvement in Ninefold’s marketing campaigns. Examples of these marketing efforts include guest blog posts and opportunities to reach out to the Ninefold community, according to the press release.
“Ninefold is an Australian business helping Australian business,” Peter James, managing director at Ninefold said in a statement. “We’re really excited to launch The Cloud Booster Program as further evidence of our ongoing commitment to the local startup ecosystem.”
Ninefold says that startups involved in the program are assured that their data is secure within Australia via local data centers.
“During the first twelve months of a business, it can seem like finance only goes one way – out. By providing free cloud computing and storage to our Australian companies for one year, The Ninefold Cloud Booster Program allows fledgling web businesses to develop their ideas with the help of our mentors and without worrying about things like hosting or infrastructure,” Phil Morle at Pollenizer said in a statement.
