(auspex.com), a provider of enterprisestorage solutions, announced yesterday that it has become a charter memberof the Citrix Systems, Inc. (citrix.com) Citrix Business Alliance, or CBA. As a CBA member, Auspex will work with Citrix to ensure compatibility of its NS3000 series of Network Attached Storage network servers with Citrix’sserver-based computing environment.

“Auspex and Citrix clearly share the same objectives of centralizingmanagement and lowering TCO,” said Lawrence Didsbury, manager of strategicalliances for Auspex Systems. “Joining the Citrix Business Alliance gives usan opportunity to demonstrate the way Auspex network servers can enhance theadvantages of Citrix’s server-based computing, and it also provides a meansof compatibility testing that will give our customers the assurance ofinteroperability in a Citrix environment.”
