AT&T Extends Hosting Partnership

February 21, 2008 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Telecommunications provider AT&T (att.com) announced on Wednesday that it has extended its partnership with 1-800-Flowers.com (1-800-flowers.com) and will continue to support its infrastructure with data hosting services, including enterprise hosting and voice services in a multi-year contract.

AT&T says its enterprise hosting services will continue to improve performance of 1-800-Flowers.com’s critical business data and applications, which will help streamline online ordering, processing and product distribution. In addition to hosting services, AT&T will provide advanced toll-free calling services for 1-800-Flower.com, which will help provide high-quality customer service, order processing and communications among retail locations, says the company.

“AT&T’s solution will further enable us to provide exceptional customer service and ensure that order processing continues to occur at optimal speed and quality,” says Steve Bozzo, chief information officer for 1-800-Flowers.com. “One major reason we’ve turned to AT&T is the seasonal nature of our business – we have significant peaks in our Web traffic for Valentines Day and Mothers Day. We look forward to expanding our relationship with AT&T.”

Last month, AT&T partnered with SAP America in a three-year marketing contract.
