AtMail Debuts Email Reseller Program

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Linux-based email management appliances and software provider AtMail (www.atmail.com) has announced a new partner program for value-added resellers, SaaS providers and distributors, allowing partners to offer an alternative to Microsoft Exchange and Yahoo Zimbra worldwide.

According to the company’s Monday announcement, the AtMail Alliance (www.atmail.com/partners.php) provides a range of benefits to partners, including the AtMail Partner Portal for easy online ordering and access to sales and marketing resources, volume discounts, consulting, training and certification, lead generation programs and evaluation units for field testing and demos.

“The AtMail Alliance allows organizations in the web collaboration market to broaden the solution set they offer through a full range of email tools that are used daily by millions of end-users,” AtMail vice president of sales Corey Bissaillon said in a statement. “We’ve designed the program to allow the easy addition of Atmail products to the portfolio of any motivated provider of hosted or dedicated solutions, to expand their service offering and drive revenue.”

Partners also have access to the AtMail SVN Repository to stay up-to-date on product development and provide feedback directly to the Atmail development team.

Boasting more than 15 million email users worldwide, AtMail provides universities, government agencies, ISPs, and small and medium-sized businesses with messaging and collaboration systems available in commercial and open source options. AtMail supports email, calendaring, webmail server and archiving capabilities. AtMail products range from a webmail system to a turn-key email server.

Australia-based AtMail hopes that its new partner program will open up more opportunities with worldwide service providers.

Finnish marketing and communications services provider Restate.fi (www.restate.fi) was selected as an exclusive reseller in its market. “Our philosophy is to bring quality content and clever technology close to each other – creating simple, working solutions forour customers,” Restate.fi chief executive officer Erik Lydén said. “Therefore we are proud to be a charter partner and look forward to helping our clients also by providing quality email solutions such as Atmail.”

Already this year, AtMail has announced a number of new offerings and product updates. Two weeks ago, AtMail unveiled ArchiveVault, its web-based email archiving network appliance. Earlier in the year, AtMail released version 1.03 of its open-source webmail platform AtMail Open, as well as version 5.6 of its flagship AtMail email management application.
