(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Data center operator AtlantaNAP (www.atlantanap.com) announced on Tuesday it has successfully completed its Statement of Auditing Standard No. 70 Type II certification, which confirms that AtlantaNAP delivers fully secure and reliable, high quality operating standards in its data center operations.
The announcement follows the completion of AtlantaNAP’s parent company, Global Net Access’s (www.gnax.net) own SAS 70 Type II audit last September.
The SAS 70 Type II certification confirms that AtlantaNAP’s data center operational and security procedures have been tested and reviewed by an independent, certified public accounting firm.
The audit confirms that AtlantaNAP’s controls and processes have been properly designed and are operating effectively to safeguard and protect customers’ data and equipment.
Last April, AtlantaNAP completed the expansion of its Enterprise Data Center 2 by adding another 13,500 square feet of available space.
