Asigra says it offers a unique pricing model that enables IT organizations to cost-effectively manage backup across the WAN. This eliminates the data protection, performance, scalability and high license costs normally attached to conventional tape-based backup software and agent-based licenses.
The traditional tape backup model was designed to protect information inside a data center, says Asigra, but proves to be costly with agent-based licensing costs. Asigra says it provides IT managers significantly lower operational costs with improved end-user service levels.
