Arrow ECS Signs Distribution Agreement with Web Host Verio to Expand its Offerings for VARs

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider Verio (www.verio.com) and Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions (ecs.arrow.com) have announced a North American distribution agreement, enabling Arrow ECS to connect its global network of value-added resellers to Verio’s full suite of services, including Verio’s virtual private servers, managed private servers, shared hosting, domain name registration, Microsoft Hosted Exchange and SharePoint, and other SaaS solutions.

According to Verio’s Tuesday announcement, the Arrow Fusion Professional Services Program will let Arrow ECS VARs offer hosting and other managed solutions to their existing customers and prospects, representing an alternative form factor to traditional IT services. Customers can also take advantage of the additional professional services offerings backed by the strength of the viaVerio Partner Program and its industry-leading benefits.

“We continue to focus on enhancing our value for resellers by providing a broad range of products and services that will help them meet their customers’ demands, increase their portfolio of offerings and create new revenue opportunities,” Arrow ECS worldwide services vice president Joe Burke said in a statement. “Our agreement with Verio enables us to deliver award-winning hosting solutions that will strengthen our value proposition for resellers while also expanding the Arrow Fusion Professional Services program.”

The viaVerio Partner Program achieved record growth in 2009, through the company’s recruitment of more than 650 new VARs to the program. Arrow ECS will work directly with Verio’s sales force to identify new VAR opportunities and educate VARs on the value of offering hosted solutions, and how they can help minimize the time typically required to generate new customer revenue.
