April 18, 2006 — (WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Web hosting provider ArielHost (arielhost.com) announced on Tuesday it is now offering several new services for online merchants, and it has launched a subsidiary company, Cardservice Kentucky.
The new merchant services include Voice over Internet Protocol telephony. Entry-level unlimited business VoIP plans start at $48.30 per month, and include caller ID, call waiting, call transfers, three-way calls, and free in-network calling. ArielHost also now offers payment card industry compliance services, which enable online merchants to meet the security requirements of several major credit card companies.
“VoIP is a technology that has revolutionized the way many large companies communicate,” says Ariel Benzakein, chief operating officer of ArielHost. “There’s no expensive equipment to buy, all systems are fully customizable by the end user, and overall, it is a much more cost effective solution that traditional land line telephones.”
ArielHost also launched its subsidiary, Cardservice Kentucky, an independent sales agent of Cardservice International. The service offers discounted online merchant accounts, charging standard rates for Internet transactions as low as 2.39 percent.
