(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Linux web hosting provider AptHost Communications USA (www.apthost.com) has recovered from a two month litigation process involving former employees responsible for malicious code, which has since been purged on its servers and network, helping the company finish the financial quarter ending May 31 with sales totalling $178,484.79.
“AptHost went through a rough couple months but now that it is under new management I fully expect AptHost will make a recovery in terms of its reputation, reliability, service and support,” AptHost president and chief executive officer Cody McLain said in a statement. “We have already made several changes such as the hiring of new employees, move to The Planet and much more is on the way. I plan to make AptHost known as one of the most reliable hosting companies around while maintaining an economical and competitive pricing structure.”
AptHost is now stable and has also moved to a new data center to fulfill its customer needs for better service and uptime, according to parent company Rancho Santa Monica Developments’ (www.rsdv.net) Wednesday announcement. It has also expanded its services to offer 24/7 online support and upgraded web hosting services made possible through the migration of its shared, virtual and dedicated products from Softlayer Technologies (www.softlayer.com) to IT hosting provider The Planet (www.theplanet.com).
AptHost’s strong quarter reports included 853 new orders sales totalling $39,414.47 in revenue. It also started planning market and private financing to for its advertising efforts and office consolidation in Bellevue, Washington by August 15, 2009. AptHost also plans to roll out a new corporate website by June 30.
