Apptix Launches Reseller Program

(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Hosted services provider Apptix (www.apptix.com) has launched a new partner program, offering a multi-tiered channel program that creates new revenue streams and increased average revenue per user opportunities for partners referring and reselling Apptix’s Hosted Microsoft Exchange, Voice-over-IP and SharePoint services.

According to the company’s Tuesday announcement, the Apptix Partner Program lets channel partners offer an expanding portfolio of co-branded or white labeled, mission critical services to accelerate a reseller’s entry into the market, including a branded storefront, credit card billing, and branded customer facing billing. Apptix’s also ensures that end-users have access to Apptix’s 24/7 live customer support as a white-label service.

“The comprehensive product portfolio and advanced technology behind our program significantly enhance reseller revenue opportunities and competitive advantages while dramatically expanding our universe of potential channel partners,” Apptix sales and business development vice president Chris Damvakaris said in a statement.

“Apptix offers a ‘business-in-a-box’ solution to address SMBs’ growing communications and IT needs that can be resold by large and small–as well as nontraditional–reseller firms. Now, small business trusted advisors and consultants, such as accounting or legal firms with limited technical ability, can offer their clients mission-critical technical solutions, while leaving the hard part–deployment, management, customer service, and billing–to Apptix.”

Offering the tools to create a unified communications offering, resellers can offer Microsoft Exchange 2007 email, mobile email, web conferencing and instant messaging using Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, SharePoint collaboration services, domain name registration, shared web hosting, and virtual private servers.

Resellers can manage their end-user accounts, assign or add new services, and make account changes using Apptix’s administrative Web console.
