The email storage solution was developed in partnership with email archiving and compliance solutions provider Global Relay Communications (globalrelay.net).
The companies say the solution will enable organizations of all sizes to address a range of challenges of regulatory compliance, legal e-discovery, storage optimization and backup associated with email use in business.
The solution provides businesses with long-term storage, archiving and monitoring of electronic communications, security and protection of business information, and business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
The solution also enables organizations to be compliant with different state and federal regulations. These include Litigation E-discovery under the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, SEC and FINRA regulatory compliance for broker-dealers, investment advisors and hedge funds, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for public companies and privacy and access to information mandates for businesses, government, health care providers and law firms under legislation such as Gramm-Leach-Bliley, HIPAA, Florida’s Sunshine Law and California’s Security Breach Information Act.
The software as a service solution enables the seamless integration of AppRiver’s managed service for Microsoft Exchange with Global Relay’s Message Archiver to securely capture and preserve all email and attachments.
