(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) — Shared hosting provider Applied Innovations (www.appliedi.net) announced last week it added greater scalability and more features to its Windows Server 2008 hosting service.
In September 2008, Applied Innovations added a new group of shared hosting plans and managed dedicated servers using Internet Information Server 7 and MS SQL 2008.
Applied Innovations has introduced two new Windows Server 2008 shared hosting plans, offering customers greater choice and flexibility.
Both plans include access to versions 2.0 and 3.5 of ASP.NET, PHP 5 via FastCGI, and MS SQL Server 2008.
“We have focused our resources and energy to build a Windows hosting environment that not only provides the reliability that our clients need today, but also provides access to new technologies that enable them to prepare their businesses for the future,” says Carlos Caneja, CTO at Applied Innovations. “Scalability is important to our clients and these new plans meet that need.”
The shared web host has also introduced a range of new, custom-configured IIS7 modules.
The new features, which are free for customers, include the IIS7 Media Pack for streaming multimedia control, and Failed Request Tracing, which helps customers troubleshoot or detect the cause of failed website requests.
Applied Innovations specializes in ASP.NET hosting, with all hosting plans supported by a 30-day money back guarantee and a near-100 percent uptime guarantee.
